Motives:
- He submitted The 14 Points.
- Wanted to rebuild Germany on Democratic Lines.
- Wanted Self Determination for many European Countries.
- He formed the the League of Nations which was collective security for nations, however it failed because major powers failed to join. This included his own.
David Lloyd George

David Lloyd George - He led the United Kingdom delegation.
Motives:
- He wanted reparations from Germany, but did not push to the extent that France did.
- He wanted to remain trade partners with Germany.
- Pushed for, and won, more reparations towards the UK for widows, war costs and psychological issues that solders faced.

- Had the harshest demands for Germany.
- Wanted to cripple Germany, economically, politically and for them to reduce their military for self protection only.
- He was known as a 'media man'.
- He was a high school teacher and married a student.

- Originally the Italy delegation leader however he left very early into the Treaty meeting because he felt as though the demands were unfair.
