Overview:
- February (March on a Russian Calender), was the beginning of the riots in Petrograd. (Saint Petersburg)
- This resulted in Tsar Nicolas II to leave the throne.
- Diarchy begins. There is a power struggle between Petrograd Soviets (working class group) and the Aristocrats.
- The Tsar is replaced by a provisional government, originally led by Prince Lvov, and replaced by Alexander Kerensky.
- Both of them kept Russia in the war which made them very unpopular with the general population.
