Summary
Isolationism is a major theory for the American states. This however, is followed loosely, as America seems to involve themselves in politics from a political, economical and social standpoint of other countries. The Washington Conference is a political example of this. They heavily involved themselves in the policies of other countries, which, simply put caused them to fail in following their own.
